The Technology

Our production process.

Our facility was built with the best tools and technology supplied by the Belgian refining specialists, DeSmet — a fully integrated line from raw seed to sealed bottle.

  1. 01

    Seed reception

    Soya, sunflower, corn and palm seeds received, cleaned and stored.

  2. 02

    Extraction

    Crude oil drawn from the seed under tightly controlled conditions.

  3. 03

    Refining

    Neutralised, bleached and deodorised to a clean, stable finish.

  4. 04

    Bottling

    Filled and sealed across our Oleh, Omry, Salma and Spritz lines.

  5. 05

    Quality assurance

    Lab-tested at every stage to ISO 22000 and HACCP standards.

Who we are

About the company.

Borg Al Arab for Industry has offered top-quality oil extraction, refining and bottling for over two decades. A private free-zone company near the harbour of Alexandria, our location unlocks the Arab League's trade agreements and COMESA markets — letting us refine, bottle and ship at scale.

We also extract, refine and bottle on behalf of other producers across the region, and supply soybean & cottonseed meal and soya hulls as animal feed.
